An organization's ongoing investment in people can be maximized by making sure training and development programs are in alignment with its mission, vision, and values. The Real Learning Company's strategic visioning process focuses and clarifies organizational vision in a way that cascades the vision throughout the organization. This half-day, graphically-facilitated program helps a company's leadership discover their values, creates a context for vision, and recognizes the role of values in driving behavior. The visioning process also builds on and further clarifies an organization's mission and recognizes the mission's importance as a context for goals.

The overall mission, vision, and values are depicted on a four-by-eight foot mural that can be used to visually communicate a clear "big picture" to employees (as part of a Symphony rollout) or to other stakeholders to create improved alignment. Finally, the vision crafted, based on a company's values and mission, can be translated into important, tangible outcomes for each of the company's stakeholders.

The Real Learning's strategic visioning process is typically a part of the Symphony program and can be an effective starting point for driving organizational change as well as supporting continuous, ongoing organizational alignment.
