Using the demonstrated and well documented Toyota Production System principles and practices and working with the leaders of the University of Toyota, The Real Learning Company has designed a two-day learning laboratory experience for discovering and applying the principles of “lean” in intact and cross-functional knowledge worker teams.

Lean Lab participants discover:

  • The value and importance of being truly focused on the customer. Participants learn to apply the principle of “pull” not “push” when it comes to satisfying customers needs.
  • That in being focused on the customer, there are methods for examining and re-arranging work flow to better and more effectively deliver upon customer needs
  • How to assess their current capabilities and either leverage strengths or eliminate or develop weaknesses to drive operational excellence
  • A consistent, effective and efficient method for group problem solving that goes beyond applying “quick fix” solutions.
